This quote from Theodore Roosevelt is so inspiring. It inspires us to believe in ourselves and motivates us to start doing something towards our dreams.

The photo is a sunset scene from Zambales, a town here in the Philippines. This area is usually covered with water during rainy season and becomes so dry during summer months. Still the people here have managed to survive and make a living.

act of worship

I wholeheartedly agree with this quote from an unknown author about "giving God all of you" as an "act of worship." Giving God all that we are is truly the only way we can show how much we worship and appreciate our gift of life from God.

I find this quote from Ritu Ghatourey as a very timely reminder about how we spend our time. We really must take sometime to just simply "...listen to our heart, mind and body...," as they might be telling us something else. Often times, we just simply talk to our mind and rarely listen to our heart, soul, and body.

I love how Mahatma Gandhi described prayer. Every time I see a sunset or a beautiful creation of God, I always say a prayer of thanks and I feel that Gandhi is right about the prayer being "a longing of the soul."

Actually, I have a kind of commitment to myself that I will always try to show through my photography, how awesome everything is in this world. There is beauty everywhere from the smallest things to the grandest mountains.

God's Thank You

Yesterday, I shared a photoquote about early morning. Today, I share something about sunset. I think Linda Poindexter must have been truly inspired when she wrote this line about sunset.

The photo is one of the beautiful sunsets we experienced while we were in Bohol. The light that afternoon was simply awesome!

Sunset Sunrise

I don't remember anymore where I first saw this quote but it really stuck in my mind. I tried to look for the author but I am still unsuccessful as of now. Anyway, I am sharing it here because I love the way it reminds us that there are always two sides to something that confronts or faces us. Another way of looking at it is also the saying that "behind every cloud is a silver lining."

True Happiness

I like this quote from Joseph Addison about "true happiness". I believe that we actually have to be the one to create our own happiness. It should not be dependent on somebody else because if that somebody will fail us, then how can we make ourselves happy? If however we are the ones making our own happiness, then we can make changes with ourselves so that we will be happy.
