out of the storm

Sometimes we need storms in our life because as what Haruki Murakami said in this quote, "you won't be the same person" when you come out of the storm.  Oftentimes, we come out of a storm stronger and better.

My soul expands

"My soul expands in the worship of the creator" - this is also exactly how I feel every time I see the wonders of God's creation. Actually, I have a kind of commitment to myself that I will always try to show through my photography, how awesome everything is in this world. There is beauty everywhere from the smallest things to the grandest mountains.

The photo is a sunset that I took from the plane window as we were on our way to Iloilo City last April. You can see the sea of clouds both below and above the setting sun.

I love challenges! Thus, this quote from Joshua J. Marine is like an affirmation of what I believe in.

The photo is a sunset shot of a sailboat on the waters of Boracay island. The dark clouds may seem to be threatening, but the people in the sailboat do not appear to be in a hurry.

The Glory of God

I took this photo from the plane window as we were flying to Iloilo City from Manila. I was lucky to get a window seat so I had fun taking photos of the clouds and the mountains underneath. I thought this photo goes well with this quote of Psalm 19:1.
