There are many ways of praying and I like how Karl Rahner describes what praying is.

We do learn far more lessons just simply by being one with nature than by seeking everything from books. This I know from first hand experience. This quote or something similar to it has been attributed to different authors. I choose to showcase here the one attributed to Constance Arnold. I find this as a very powerful and inspiring quote. Imagine how powerful this line is, "...the whole universe stands on tiptoe waiting to assist you in miraculous and amazing ways...!"

Rejoice

Yes indeed, we must rejoice every new day as we marvel at the work of God! Just the mere fact that we are able to witness a new day, is enough reason to rejoice!

I took this photo from the highest part of Corregidor island as we witnessed the sun coming out and peeping through the leaves. It was such a beautiful morning and I could not help but say a prayer of thanks!

Miracle

I was inspired by this beautiful morning that I immediately thought of these two lines. I thought I read something similar somewhere before, but I could not find it when I searched the net. So I did not attribute it to anybody. Oh well, it might be original then.

Prayer

Our prayers should come from the heart, so even if "we can't find the right words to say them", we are still communicating with God. Isn't this simply a beautiful quote? Unfortunately, this is another one of those quotes with unknown author.

When I took this photo, it was a beautiful early morning as we waited for the sun to come out. It's that kind of morning that makes one say a prayer of thanksgiving.

Sunset Sunrise

I don't remember anymore where I first saw this quote but it really stuck in my mind. I tried to look for the author but I am still unsuccessful as of now. Anyway, I am sharing it here because I love the way it reminds us that there are always two sides to something that confronts or faces us. Another way of looking at it is also the saying that "behind every cloud is a silver lining."

The photo that I used here shows a sunset in Boracay. I just converted it into a digital painting.

Sorry I have not posted the past few days. I was out of town and could not get an internet access. Anyway, I will make up for the lost days.

I just learned that the photoquote I am sharing today just had another sale over at RedBubble. Somehow, this card seems to be my most popular card as it has had the most sales. I don't really understand why, but it seems people identify with the quote as well as the simplicity of the photo.

The photo is that of weeds in our yard and I thought it fits the quote, as weeds are usually small and insignificant. However, they do have a beauty of their own. Don't you agree?
