Be a beginner

We can all be beginners every single morning. Isn't that wonderful?

Nothing beats waking up each morning with a prayer; then followed by a steaming cup of coffee plus your favorite magazine. Don't you agree?

Rejoice

Yes indeed, we must rejoice every new day as we marvel at the work of God! Just the mere fact that we are able to witness a new day, is enough reason to rejoice!

I took this photo from the highest part of Corregidor island as we witnessed the sun coming out and peeping through the leaves. It was such a beautiful morning and I could not help but say a prayer of thanks!

Whispers of Truth

I like the way K.T.Jong talk about our need for silence in our life. Telling us that we will hear "the whispers of truth that life reveals to us" is so motivational. It motivates me to devote more time to silence,  so I can hear the "whispers of truth".

Prayer

Our prayers should come from the heart, so even if "we can't find the right words to say them", we are still communicating with God. Isn't this simply a beautiful quote? Unfortunately, this is another one of those quotes with unknown author.

When I took this photo, it was a beautiful early morning as we waited for the sun to come out. It's that kind of morning that makes one say a prayer of thanksgiving.

A single sunbeam

I don't know if St. Francis of Assisi is a poet, but the way he expressed the importance of a single sunbeam is so poetic. 

I used this quote from him with my photo of this spider web. I think the two go well together because the single ray from the early morning sun created a beautiful rainbow on this cobweb. 

How Do You Live?

I simply love this quote from Einstein. I sincerely believe that it is the way we look at life that makes us open to all the possibilities around us.

I coupled this quote with a photo of a leaf that I took one early morning. I just love how the early morning light enhanced the beauty of this leaf even if it is partially eaten up by some unknown entity, an insect maybe?

Sorry I have not posted the past few days. I was out of town and could not get an internet access. Anyway, I will make up for the lost days.

I just learned that the photoquote I am sharing today just had another sale over at RedBubble. Somehow, this card seems to be my most popular card as it has had the most sales. I don't really understand why, but it seems people identify with the quote as well as the simplicity of the photo.

The photo is that of weeds in our yard and I thought it fits the quote, as weeds are usually small and insignificant. However, they do have a beauty of their own. Don't you agree?
