Sunset Sunrise

I don't remember anymore where I first saw this quote but it really stuck in my mind. I tried to look for the author but I am still unsuccessful as of now. Anyway, I am sharing it here because I love the way it reminds us that there are always two sides to something that confronts or faces us. Another way of looking at it is also the saying that "behind every cloud is a silver lining."

The photo that I used here shows a sunset in Boracay. I just converted it into a digital painting.

True Happiness

I like this quote from Joseph Addison about "true happiness". I believe that we actually have to be the one to create our own happiness. It should not be dependent on somebody else because if that somebody will fail us, then how can we make ourselves happy? If however we are the ones making our own happiness, then we can make changes with ourselves so that we will be happy.

Best Mother

I specially designed this card for my mother and for all mothers in this world. "Mother" is for me the sweetest word that I have been called.

Our Hearts

This is another maxim from Blessed Maria Domenica that I have converted into a photoquote.

As I mentioned in a previous post, Blessed MD wrote maxims for everyday of the year. They are really so inspirational not only for the Camillian Sisters but for everybody.

This photo is that of Blessed MD's statue found in the Maria Domenica Development Center here in the Philippines. This is a center for preschool kids especially special children.

Direction of Your Dreams

I have admired Henry David Thoreau for as long as I can remember. I have collected some of his quotes and I'm sharing one of them now.

As you can see this is another "dream" quote. I have posted several of  them here already.  Isn't it obvious that I do believe in dreams?

What Dwight L. Moody says about Faith and Love is so true. I don't think I can add anything more to this. It's short and simple, yet so profound. Don't you think so?

Cells and more

This is my photoquote about cells that I mentioned a few days ago.  I wrote this myself as I was really inspired by all that I learned and still am learning about cells.
