when our hearts are conscious of our treasures

This quote from Thornton Wilder tells us that our hearts know and have their own consciousness. It seems that our hearts and not our brain are really the ones that know about our true self. Even St. Exupery talked about seeing with the heart and now Wilder talks about being conscious with the heart.

By the way, Thornton Wilder is an American play write who won three Pulitzer Prizes for a novel and two plays.

Mankind and Christmas

Yes, we are all one family in the eyes of the Lord. And this is especially felt at Christmas as we give love to each other. Pope John XXIII said this so nicely.

Footprints On Our Hearts

I love this quote about how people make footprints in our hearts. Unfortunately, I could not find who the author is.
Anyway, I find that this quote really resonates with what I believe in. There is also another quote that somehow goes in a similar manner. It's also about people coming into our life for a reason. I'm planning to make another photoquote based on that one of these days.

This photo is that of wild flowers I found in our garden. I think that the two are somehow talking to each other and sharing something deep. Flowers do talk! Don't you agree?

Our Hearts

This is another maxim from Blessed Maria Domenica that I have converted into a photoquote.

As I mentioned in a previous post, Blessed MD wrote maxims for everyday of the year. They are really so inspirational not only for the Camillian Sisters but for everybody.
