Holy Week

Jesus' humanity is shown in this Bible verse from Luke 22:42.

This is a photo of a painting in one of the churches here in the Philippines. I just added the verse from Luke to transform this into a photoquote.

I wish all of you a blessed Holy Week.

Reality starts in the mind

Whatever we see as reality actually started as ideas in our minds or in someone else's mind.  This is what Robin S. Sharma reminds us in this quote - that "everything is created twice, first in the mind and then in reality."

Robin S. Sharma is a writer and motivational speaker. He was born in India but has since then acquired both Canadian and Mauritian citizenship.

Faith and Non-violence

I like the way Mahatma Gandhi expressed the importance of faith in non-violence.

If we espouse non-violence, we indeed need to have a double faith... faith in God and faith in man.

We really need faith to be able to accomplish things. We cannot just rely on ourselves alone or also in God alone. We have to do our part and God will take care of the rest.

Pope Francis

Welcome to the Philippines, Pope Francis!

Happy New Year

Wishing you all the best of this coming 2015! Happy New Year to you!

The photo is a Christmas ball on a table cloth with a bokeh of colored lights in the background.

gift of Christmas

I love this quote from Pope Francis. We are all eagerly awaiting his arrival here in the Philippines next year.

Christmas Wish For You

I just have a simple wish for you and your loved ones...
May your Christmas be filled with blessings and your New Year full of hope and Abundance!
