Whatever we see as reality actually started as ideas in our minds or in someone else's mind.  This is what Robin S. Sharma reminds us in this quote - that "everything is created twice, first in the mind and then in reality."

Robin S. Sharma is a writer and motivational speaker. He was born in India but has since then acquired both Canadian and Mauritian citizenship.

 I like the positivity of this quote from Mike Dillard. It tells us that we can "create the world" around us so that they "match the dreams in your mind."

Mike Dillard is an entrepreneur who founded a group, The Elevation Group with the purpose of "teaching people to invest like the rich."

 

The photo I used here to create this photoquote, is that of my grandson who is impervious to everything around him as he creates his own world. I don't know if he already has dreams in his mind at this age, but he surely does know how to create his world!

Heart and mind are really connected. As Charles John Quarto said in this quote, "If you open your heart, love opens your mind."

This thought has been expressed in so many ways by different authors. I choose to use the quote from Marcus Aurelius here. We are indeed formed by our thoughts and whatever have become habitual in our thoughts, then they will be expressed in our soul and our character.

As Norman Vincent Peale said, we can achieve whatever our "mind can conceive and believe" and our heart desires. So it really depends on us. However, we must not forget to trust and thank the Lord for everything.
