Adversity, failure, and heartache

Napoleon Hill is one of the most influential authors in our time. His book, "Think and Grow Rich" has remained on the best seller list and has been reprinted several times over.

Trust is an act of the soul

"Trust a vigorous act of the soul...." I like these words from Jerry Bridges. It's so empowering and inspiring. In fact, everything about the words in this quote is empowering.

a flower blooms in adversity

This quote from "Mulan" of Walt Disney Co., is so true and inspiring. Adversity usually hones us and strengthens our character. The same is true for a flower. If it blooms under the most adverse conditions, then it is most beautiful.

Adversity

I like this quote about adversity. We do need adversities to keep us grounded and as the quote says, "to prevent you (us) from skidding." Unfortunately I could not find who the author is for this quote. I just picked it up from one of the magazines I was reading and there was no attribution to any author.
