We Remember Moments

Aw, this quote from Cesare Pavese touches my heart! We really remember moments! We especially remember how we feel during those moments. Don't you agree?

I partnered this quote with this photo of Oxalis flowers. I love these flowers - they are so small and so dainty but they are so photogenic no matter what angle I take their photo.

Excellence is a habit

"Excellence is a habit"! Wow, I like what Aristotle said here about "excellence". This means that all of us are capable of developing excellence in anything that we focus on and repeatedly do. Isn't that something?

A single sunbeam

I don't know if St. Francis of Assisi is a poet, but the way he expressed the importance of a single sunbeam is so poetic. 

I used this quote from him with my photo of this spider web. I think the two go well together because the single ray from the early morning sun created a beautiful rainbow on this cobweb. 

Gratitude

I believe that gratitude makes us reach out to other people and to God.
Gratitude makes us count our blessings and focus on what is good and positive about our life. There is really so much that we can be thankful for. Thus, I like how Henry Ward Beecher expressed what gratitude is.

Be first-rate

What Judy Garland says is so true! We can always learn from others but we must be true to our own self and not be "a second-rate version of somebody else." Each of us has a role to play, and there is only one you or only one me. That's how God intended us to be. So we must really develop all our talents and gifts fully so we can be "first-rate version of ourselves."
