tomorrow and God

This quote from an unknown author is believed to have been based on the verse from Matthew  6:33-34. “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. 

Also from Matthew 6:25-34-

 

 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. worry, sorrow and strength

This quote from Corrie ten Boom is so true. Worry actually does not just empty today of its strength, but it also makes us forget about the beauty of today.

The photo is a person who is probably feeling pensive or is even worrying. It's just good that it's almost the end of the day, so tomorrow might bring her something to smile about.

Sometimes

These lines come from a poem by an unknown author. The first two lines are actually what attracted me to this poem. It's because I love taking photos of flowers with raindrops and so I thought my photo and the poem fit each other.

We have only today

I love this quote from Mother Teresa because it exhorts us to take action...today! This is  a very good reminder for procrastinators like me.

Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow are popular subjects of quotes, phrases, stories, slogans. This quote from an unknown author is I think one of the best descriptions of what yesterday, today, and tomorrow are. Don't your agree?

Do not worry about tomorrow

We usually tend to worry needlessly about tomorrow that we forget we are here today. We have to be thankful that we have today. Thus, this reminder from Matthew is very timely and down to earth. Don't you agree?
