A virgin shall conceive

In preparation for the birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary on September 8, I am posting this verse from Isaiah.
Happy Birthday Mama Mary!

The photo is a a kneeling Virgin Mary that I saw inside a church in Pampanga, a province here in the Philippines.

the word of God

I find this verse from Isaiah very comforting and reassuring. If you are told that "...the word of God will stand forever", won't you feel the same too?

The bright yellow orchids and the green background somehow fit this verse nicely. Don't you agree?

Fear Not

"Fear not for I am with you...." I find these words from Isaiah 41:10 so comforting. Knowing that God is always with us makes me able to go through every difficulty that I encounter. The rest of the words in the verse are even more reassuring. So how can we not go on if we have God telling us "...I will strengthen you, I will help you...." Wow! This is really so inspiring!

The photo that I used here is that of two newly hatched birdies that we found in our garden. They were crying out for their mommie! I think that they also need the reassurance of the same verse from Isaiah. That's why I put the photo and verse together.
