This is another favorite line from The Little Prince. It's really the time that we spend on something or someone that makes it/him/her important.

This quote is a reiteration of the other more familiar quote from "The Little Prince;" "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." I am going to make a photoquote of this at another time.
