This verse from the Ephesians is a good reminder to us about the reason we are saved. It is not about our efforts or what we have done, it is by grace, a gift from God.

I love this quote from John Updike. I find it so lyrical. Indeed, "rain is grace." I always love it after the rain, the kind of rain that is not destructive of course.
