truth and wisdom

 According to Wikipedia, the source of this quote, Joseph Smith Jr., is the founder of the Latter Day Saint movement, or the Mormons. Whatever his religious affiliation is, I still find his belief in God inspiring.

I do believe that yes, God is our ultimate source of truth and wisdom. There is no other way but through Him!

I first got acquainted with the writing of Thomas Merton through his book The Seven Storey Mountain. Since then, I have admired his works and have kept some of his quotable quotes. This is one of my favorites.
